Heritage, Hope, and Healing
We honor our past. We empower our present. We build our future.
Our Mission
Afri-Soul Education Center empowers African American communities by nurturing cultural pride, fostering economic self-sufficiency, and cultivating intergenerational learning.
Through a vibrant network of Black-owned businesses, educational programming, and grassroots engagement, we catalyze holistic community development where heritage is honored, entrepreneurs thrive, and families are uplifted.
We stand as a living marketplace of ideas, creativity, and collaboration—creating inclusive pathways toward shared prosperity and lasting resilience.

Through immersive storytelling, hands-on learning, and a network of BIPOC-owned enterprises, we restore pride, build prosperity, and strengthen resilience for generations to come.

Capital Campaign Spotlight: Restoring the Swindall Tourist Inn
The Swindall Tourist Inn is one of Arizona’s most important African American historic landmarks, a place of refuge, dignity, and resilience during the Jim Crow era.
Afri-Soul is leading the effort to restore this treasured site and transform it into a living museum, cultural center, and community hub.
This restoration is not just about a building.
It is about reclaiming our story, protecting our heritage, and creating a future where our history is visible, valued, and celebrated.
